Apple said "We have no choice but to turn to USB-C"

It is no secret that many of the mobile phones we have used different types of charging ports. This breakthrough, which started with the first phone charger created by Wen-ching Yang in 2000, has been improved with the advancement of current technology to the wireless charging facility. These revolutionary inputs brought to the tech world by various companies and individuals through various brands are of great benefit to us, the users.

But As a result of a period of activity, the European Union decided on October 4 that all electronic devices intended to be sold in the EU after 2024 must contain a single charging port.

In The Wall Street Journal's WSJ Tech Live Conference held recently, Greg Joswiak, an executive officer of Apple, has stated that they have to accept the law passed by the European Union and they have no other option.Therefore, he said that Type-C Charging Port will be provided first for small apple electronic devices from 2023.

The European Union has taken this decision to reduce the environmental pollution caused by the disposal of old phone devices in the environment when buying new phones in its member countries.

However, the Apple executive officer says that they accepts  decision of EU but does not fully agree with it.

Under this situation, we can guess that almost all Apple electronic devices to be released in the future are likely to be released in Type-C form. But it has not yet been officially announced whether this situation affects only EU countries or all countries.
